Pinterest max-width video from a 9:16 master: the 1:1 height limit
Pinterest max-width video cannot be taller than 1:1. A 1080x1920 master becomes 1080x1080 with cover (56.25% of rows) or blur (608 px wide picture).

An 11.2-second voice line bills 12 seconds on Sume's MiniMax H3 Max Lip Sync: $0.75 at 480p, $1.20 at 768p, $2.40 at 1080p. See the audio window and limits.

Take the first word's start and the last word's end from STT, then add 0.15 s lead and 0.30 s tail: a 29.9 s clip becomes 1.69-27.92 s for $0.03.

One Timeline render can cut 14 pauses from a single clip with source_in slots and audio.parts: $0.11 total, versus $0.39 with 14 trim jobs first.

Pad each kept range by 0.12 s per side and 9 pauses totalling 6.35 s lose 4.19 s, not 6.35 s. The speech keeps a 0.24 s breath at every join.

Video frames returns up to 24 stills per call. Two stills per seam covers 12 seams per call, so a 14-cut Reel needs 2 calls to see every join.

Turn STT word times into keep-ranges: cut gaps over 0.35 s, drop slivers under the 0.2 s trim minimum, and price 8 trim jobs at $0.02 each.

A 9:16 crop needs width = 9/16 x H / W: 0.3164 for 1920x1080 but 0.5625 for a square clip. Read the probe first, and swap W and H if it reports rotation.

Crop a 16:9 clip to 9:16 with video-filter (width 0.3164, x 0.3418), then caption. Order trim, crop, caption: $0.02 + $0.02 + $0.20 = $0.24.

generation_config.speed runs 0.6 to 1.5 on Sume TTS. Three takes of a 450-character script cost $0.064125 total, so measure the file and retune.

Darken a busy clip with video filter dim 0.45 for $0.02, then burn captions for $0.20. Ten clips cost $2.20. The dim check endpoint is free.

Five Music Router generations cost $0.625, since every music model is a flat $0.125. There is no duration field, so you steer the length in the prompt.

Sume video trim, audio detach and video inspect all cap a source clip at 1,800 seconds. A 45-minute podcast video must be split before you import it.

A 700-character voiceover ($0.03325) and one Lyria bed ($0.125) cost $0.15825 before the render. Timeline duck_db (0 to 20) lowers the bed under speech.

Set timestamps.words true on Sume TTS and the result carries words[] with start and end seconds. A 600-character caption script costs $0.02850.

Music Router is $0.125 per generation whatever the length, so a 3-minute Short pays the same for one prompted track or a 30 s bed looped by Timeline soundtrack.

To make a still photo speak, make 5 to 14.8 seconds of TTS audio, then call MiniMax H3 Max lip sync. TTS costs $0.0475 per 1,000 characters.

Sume's face swap beta takes three fields: avatar_handle, video_url and quality. No prompt or aspect_ratio exists. It reserves 15 seconds at the tier rate.

Shorts take up to 3 minutes. Cut a 195 s Sume render to 180 s with video trim for a flat $0.02 instead of re-rendering the Timeline at $0.30.

LinkedIn lists H.264 or VP8. Sume's exact trim re-encodes to libx264, while keyframe trim copies the stream, so a phone HEVC source stays HEVC with keyframe.

Sume timeline audio outputs wav (default, sample-exact) or mp3, which adds priming padding at each edge. Re-joined mp3 parts leave gaps.

Sume's background removal costs $0.0225 per image and the catalog says the price does not vary by image size. 2,000 photos cost $45; 40,000 cost $900.

TikTok's square minimum is 640x640 and LinkedIn's maximum is 1920x1920. A 1080x1080 render clears both; 600x600 fails TikTok and 2160x2160 fails LinkedIn.

Sume video inspect with transcribe true bills $0.01 per audio minute. With no duration_seconds it reserves 1 minute; the hint maxes at 600 s (10 min = $0.10).

8 Mbps for 600 seconds is 600 MB. That exceeds TikTok's and LinkedIn's 500 MB caps but fits Pinterest's 2 GB. Sume has no bitrate field, so shorten the cut.

Three LinkedIn feed ratios need three renders: 1080x1080, 1080x1350 and 1080x1920. Each is one timeline minute at $0.10 for a 30-second ad, $0.30 in all.

Music 1.0 and the Music Router take an optional image_url. Six stills, six beds, $0.125 each: $0.75. What the image does, what it does not, and the limits.

Four 15-second scenes need four contrasting Lyria tracks. The docs ask for at least 12 BPM between scenes. Four prompts at 72, 96, 120 and 144 BPM cost $0.50.

On Sume's Kling 3.0 Motion Control route the motion video drives all movement and the prompt only steers appearance. Fields, limits and $0.1575 per second.

YouTube blocks claimed Shorts that exceed one minute. By wording 60.0 s does not, but a 59-second trim leaves margin. Sume trim is $0.02.

TikTok's non-Spark page says ad captions show in white with a font you cannot change. Sume's burned-in caption styles live inside the video, a different thing.

Sume's H3 Max Lip Sync needs 5 to 14.8 seconds of audio. A 4-second line goes to VEED Fabric: $0.75 at 720p or $0.40 at 480p. The rule and the arithmetic.

Only TikTok lists a bitrate; only LinkedIn lists a frame rate; Pinterest lists no resolution; the Shorts page lists no size at all. What Sume can set for each.

Sume's H3 Max Lip Sync takes a public HTTPS still with aspect ratio 0.4 to 2.5. 9:16 and 21:9 pass; 1:3 and 32:9 do not. Crop numbers inside.

Timeline 1.0 charges $0.10 per output minute, rounded up: 60 s is $0.10, 61 s is $0.20, 30 min is $3.00. The free plan call shows billable_minutes first.

Price nine 6-second spoken lines on Sume: H3 Max Lip Sync at 480p or 768p against VEED Fabric at 480p or 720p, with the arithmetic.
Overlay compose defaults width_ratio 0.9 and margin_ratio 0.05: on a 1080x1920 frame, a 972 px plate and a 96 px margin. Stack splits 50/50. $0.02 a job.

LinkedIn lists 1200x675 as a 16:9 size, but 675 is odd. Sume timeline sizes must be even, so render 1280x720 or 1920x1080, both inside LinkedIn's range.

TikTok's 16:9 minimum is 960x540 and LinkedIn's maximum is 1920x1080. 1280x720 and 1920x1080 clear both; 854x480 fails TikTok, 2048x1152 fails LinkedIn.

TikTok needs 9:16 at 540x960 or more; LinkedIn tops out at 1080x1920. Any even size between them clears both, and 720x1280 and 1080x1920 are the easy picks.

Sume Music has no negative prompt: a non-empty one returns 400. End the prompt with Instrumental, no vocals; add no spoken word. Each retry is $0.125.

LinkedIn's smallest accepted video sizes are 360 px on the short side. Sume timeline output can go down to 256 px, so set the size yourself and stay above 360.

The YouTube Shorts help page lists length, aspect ratio and copyright rules, but no bitrate or file size. Sume can set the size, fps and a 3-minute cut.

On Sume a 1K Nano Banana 2.1 image plus Image Upscale costs $0.30, while a native 4K render costs $0.20. When upscaling is worth paying for and when it is not.

Pinterest recommends four ratios for standard video ads. A 15-second ad in 1080x1080, 1080x1620, 1080x1350 and 1080x1920 is four Sume renders at $0.10.

YouTube blocks Shorts over one minute that carry an active copyright claim. Three Sume video trims of 60 s each cost 3 x $0.02 = $0.06 and stay at one minute.

LinkedIn video ads must be at least 75 KB and at least 3 seconds. A 3-second clip clears 75 KB at about 200 kbps, so a trim from Sume will pass.

A 10-second 960x540 draft upscaled at the default factor 2 gives 1920x1080 for $0.09 on Sume. Sume does not list Vidu; the clip only needs a public HTTPS URL.
