Thanksgiving recipe video: step cards with caption cues
Make a 40-second Thanksgiving recipe video from five phone shots: join them in Timeline 1.0, burn numbered step cards with caption cues, add a music bed.

Thanksgiving is Thursday 26 November 2026. A recipe video works as five silent shots with a text card per step: join the shots in one Timeline 1.0 render ($0.10), then burn numbered step cards with cues in one video-captions job ($0.20). Total $0.30, plus a $0.125 music bed if you want one.
Layout
| Step | Shot | Card text | Start | End |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Chop | 1. Chop the onions | 0.5 | 6.5 |
| 2 | Mix | 2. Mix the stuffing | 8.5 | 14.5 |
| 3 | Bake | 3. Bake 45 minutes | 16.5 | 22.5 |
| 4 | Glaze | 4. Brush the glaze | 24.5 | 30.5 |
| 5 | Serve | 5. Serve warm | 32.5 | 38.5 |
Request
Render the joined video first, then send its artifact URL with the cues. The shots carry no speech, so cues are required; without them the job fails with caption_no_speech.

}Limits
Quantities and oven times belong in your caption or description, written by you; do not let a model invent them. Cues are plain text, so a long ingredient list needs a pinned comment instead. Check the style options: the design override does not apply to tiktok-green or punch.

More in Use cases
- TikTok's reported 24 hours to disclose or appeal, and a burned-in fix
A brand-agency summary reports TikTok gives 24 hours to add a disclosure or appeal. A plan for that day, and a Sume captions call that burns the line in.
- TikTok 90-day violation window: a label ledger for AI batches
If a summary's 90-day violation window is right, one unlabeled batch can cost a posting ban. Build a per-clip ledger from Sume job ids before you post.
- TikTok in-feed ad caption rules: no hashtags, @ or clickable links
TikTok non-Spark in-feed ad captions are white in a fixed font, cannot hold links, @ symbols or hashtags. Where a burned-in caption fits instead.
- TikTok ad disclaimers: 90 characters, 3 links, and the AI type
TikTok Ads Manager has three disclaimer types: 90-character text, up to 3 clickable links, and an AI-generated label. What each does and what Sume does not set.
