Meta One plan prices vs 20 ad clips on Sume: $6.40
Meta One's four plans run $14.99 to $499 a month. Twenty clips through Sume's trim, caption and timeline jobs cost $6.40. What the two numbers measure.

Twenty ad clips that you trim, caption and assemble on Sume cost 20 x ($0.02 + $0.20 + $0.10) = $6.40 at the public per-job rates, with no monthly fee on those three jobs. A trade tracker lists Meta One pricing, announced 2026-09-15, as Essential $14.99, Advanced $49.99, Expert $149 and Max $499 per month (read 2026-10-06). The two numbers do not measure the same thing, and this post says what each does and does not include.
Sources: the Social media platform updates, October 2026 (read 2026-10-06) for Meta One prices (a tracker, not Meta's own plan page, so this post makes no claim about what the plans contain), and Video trim: cut a range from one Sume-hosted clip, Video captions: burn captions onto a video and Timeline 1.0: assemble clips into one MP4 for Sume rates.
What the $6.40 covers
It covers three jobs per clip: a trim to cut the range ($0.02), a caption burn for a video up to 60 seconds ($0.20) and a timeline render of up to one output minute ($0.10). It does not cover generating the footage, which is priced per model from the catalog, nor retries under new keys, nor a clip longer than a minute. It assumes the raw footage already exists.
What the plan prices do and do not tell you
A subscription is a bundle priced per month. A per-job API is priced per output. If you make 20 clips in a month, the API arithmetic is $6.40 for these three steps; if you make 400, it is $128.00. A plan's price stays the same, but only if the plan covers the work you need, which a tracker page cannot tell you for Meta One. The honest comparison needs the plan's own list of what is included and the platforms you publish to.
The calculation below takes a clip count and prints the monthly API cost for those three jobs, so you can find your own crossover against any monthly price.
PRICES = {"trim": 0.02, "caption": 0.20, "timeline_minute": 0.10}
def monthly(clips: int, minutes_each: int = 1) -> float:
per_clip = (PRICES["trim"] + PRICES["caption"]
+ PRICES["timeline_minute"] * minutes_each)
return round(clips * per_clip, 2)
for clips in (20, 100, 400):
print(clips, monthly(clips))
for plan, price in (("Essential", 14.99), ("Advanced", 49.99),
("Expert", 149.0), ("Max", 499.0)):
print(plan, price, "clips at the Sume rate:", int(price // monthly(1)))
The comparison table
The table below shows the price of each Meta One tier from the tracker and the number of Sume clips (trim, caption, one timeline minute, $0.32 each) that the same money buys. It is a unit conversion and not a recommendation, because the two products include different things.
| Meta One tier | Monthly price | Sume clips at $0.32 | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Essential | $14.99 | 46 | Rounded down |
| Advanced | $49.99 | 156 | Rounded down |
| Expert | $149 | 465 | Rounded down |
| Max | $499 | 1,559 | Rounded down |
How to decide
List the jobs you need each month and what each tool does for them. If you need only trims, captions and joins on footage you already have, the per-job API is predictable. If you need what a plan bundles that a trim does not, no table here replaces reading the plan page. Check Meta's own page for the contents, then come back to the arithmetic.
