Veo 3.1 Standard, Fast and Lite per-second prices vs Sume rows
Google lists Veo 3.1 at $0.05 to $0.60 per second. Sume's catalog has no Veo row, so this compares Google's prices with Wan 3.0, Omni Flash and Kling on Sume.

Google's Veo 3.1 costs $0.05 to $0.60 a second depending on tier and resolution, and Sume does not sell Veo: the video-router catalog has no Veo row. If you came to buy Veo 3.1 on Sume, you cannot. What you can compare is Google's listed Veo prices with the Sume rows closest to each price, which are Wan 3.0, Gemini Omni Flash 1.1, Kling Video v3 Pro and H3 Max.
Google's Veo 3.1 prices
Google's Gemini Developer API pricing page (read 2026-10-08) lists three Veo 3.1 tiers per second of generated video. Standard is $0.40 at 720p and 1080p and $0.60 at 4K. Fast is $0.10 at 720p, $0.12 at 1080p and $0.30 at 4K. Lite is $0.05 at 720p and $0.08 at 1080p.
These are Google's own prices with no markup. Sume prices are provider list times 1.25, rounded up to the cent per job, so the Sume numbers below already include that.
Nearest Sume rows
Closeness here means a similar per-second price at the same resolution. It says nothing about quality or output style, which differ by model and which this page does not rate.
| Row | 720p | 1080p | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Veo 3.1 Lite | $0.05 | $0.08 | |
| Veo 3.1 Fast | $0.10 | $0.12 | |
| Veo 3.1 Standard | $0.40 | $0.40 | |
| Wan 3.0 | $0.125 | $0.25 | Sume |
| Gemini Omni Flash 1.1 | $0.125 | $0.1875 | Sume |
| H3 Max (768p / 1080p) | $0.10 | $0.20 | Sume |
| Kling Video v3 Pro, audio off | $0.14 | $0.14 | Sume |
How to read the gaps
Sume at 720p sits between Veo 3.1 Fast ($0.10) and Standard ($0.40). Sume's price is 25 percent over the provider's list for every row it sells. Where Google sells the model directly, as with Omni Flash, Google is cheaper per second and Sume is the single-ledger option.
If your reason for Veo is price alone, Lite at $0.05 is below every Sume row. If it is price plus sound, note Omni Flash and Kling with audio generate sound, and Wan 3.0 is listed with reference audio input.
The H3 Max row is listed at 768p rather than 720p, so its 720p cell uses the 768p price and is only the nearest match.
A practical test is a fixed-length clip. An 8-second 720p clip costs $0.40 on Veo 3.1 Lite, $0.80 on Fast and $3.20 on Standard at Google's list. On Sume the same length is $1.00 on Wan 3.0 or Omni Flash and $1.12 on Kling audio off.
If Veo's output is what the brief needs, the only path is Google's own API; this page does not recommend one over the other.
- Do not assume a Sume clip matches a Veo clip in look; run both on the same prompt before you commit a batch.
- Sume durations: Wan 2 to 30 s, Omni 3 to 10 s, Kling 4 to 15 s.
- Google prices can change; re-read the page before budgeting.
